Rich Orloff is a playwright living in New York. He has taught playwriting at his alma mater Oberlin College, at Miami's City Theater, and for the Connecticut Young Playwrights program. Rich is the author of over sixty short plays, mostly comedies, including those in the comic revues ''(Romantic Fools )'', ''(Funny as a Crutch )'', ''(Nothing Serious )'', ''(Oy! )'' and ''(Ha! )''. His play, ''(Couples )'', an evening of eight short two-character comedies and dramas was presented at the Workshop's Jewel Box Theater in New York City from May 9–19, 2007. Orloff's one-acts have had over 700 productions on six of the seven continents, plus a staged reading in Antarctica.
